Physical Education

At Wibsey we take part in a large number of inter-school sports matches and events which are run by the Tong School Sport Partnership and also our local secondary school, BBEC. Children can take part in many competitions including, football, netball, tag rugby, swimming, sports hall athletics, cross country, tennis, cricket and rounders. These sports are delivered throughout the year within school PE. In KS1 the children are taught gymnastics, dance, athletics and games. This continues into KS2 where the games programme develops to include sport specific activities.

All children are actively encouraged to take part in our extensive extra-curricular sports programme which runs throughout the week. Clubs include, cheerleading, dance, football, ball skills and multi sports.
