Nursery News
A big well done to all our children; they’ve had a fabulous first half term in Nursery. Everyone is settling in well and beginning to understand the routines and expectations. It’s lovely to see friendships beginning to develop.
Now that the weather is getting colder, please could we ask that all children come to Nursery each day wearing appropriate clothing for playing outside (ie: warm coat, mittens, hat). We have lots of pairs of welly boots for the children to wear on rainy days, or they are welcome to bring their own.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE can you ensure that your child’s name is in their sweatshirt/cardigan, shoes and any outdoor clothing.
Next Half Term
- We’ll be doing lots of fun activities around the theme ‘Why is it Dark at Night?’
- Our focus book will be ‘Rosie’s Walk’ by Pat Hutchins, which provides us with many opportunities to use positional language (eg: on, under, in front, behind).
- Week beginning 11.11.19: The Nursery children will be talking about what makes them special and how we can all be kind to each other.
If you have any questions or feel that there is any information that we may require, please do not hesitate to speak to your child’s key worker:
Ms Rolston – Frog group
Mrs Larvin – Ladybird group
Mrs McCormack – Butterfly group
