Reception Update

The children were very busy during the Christmas holidays completing their homework. Our Focus this half term has been Traditional Tales.

The children were very excited to come to school in dark in their pyjamas. They brought their favourite teddy to snuggle as they listened to some bedtime stories.  The children then worked with their adult to create some crafts before enjoying some chocolate milk and a snack.

This half term we have introduced our Reception Lead Learner roles. This links with our BLP curriculum where we are encouraging the children to be independent, resilient and reflective learners.

We have also introduced our WSFL crown. Each week a child will be chosen from each class to wear the crown to celebrate their efforts for things such as; being a good a friend, being a hard worker or for being a super star.
